This week we talking about alphabetical order in the library. We started with singing the alphabet song and talking about things that we put in alphabetic order. We discussed that the Easy/Picture Books and the Fiction/Chapter Books in our library are in alphabetical order by the author’s last name. If they are looking for a books, they need to know the author’s name and what kind of book or section so that they can go look for it themselves. We then read an alphabet book.
